I Have had gender dysphoria for over half my life and it has gotten worse gradually. No, I do not watch porn and I swear I will scream the next time someone asks me this question in relation to dysphoria. I am on a high dose of antidepressant. I have a therapist. I have gone to the gym. I have tried "accepting my masculinity".
Dysphoria is such a humiliating disease of the brain, to the point where I am unsure how exactly to describe it. I have had a suicidal thought at least once a day every day for years now, all because I will never be a woman. I have a disgusting gorilla physique.
I have considered repressing and even tried it out but it doesnt go away. that said, I do not want to transition because my dysphoria isnt just reliant on abstract social ideals of gender. I am dysphoric because i was born a male and no matter what I do to my body I will always bear the scars of malehood.
