• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

if youve seen my other posts you know me and my girlfriend have had some issues lately with my mental issues getting in the way, i have the tendency to get upset, stressed, depressed, etc. often getting upset at myself for even little things which turns into self loathing. and then i get upset at myself for being upset, and she often gets overwhelmed from it and has recently told me to stop... and then i get upset and mad at myself for hurting her.

i want to know if any of you have tips or coping methods that help when you're feeling upset or stressed and whatnot. i want to be better for her and try and handle my emotions better
one thing i should add is that often times when i get upset like that it consumes me, often makes it harder for me to think straight and listen. which is a thing i really want to work on, stop it before it fully consumes me like that

resonate very deeply with this. my girlfriend and i have similar situations, it's extremely upsetting

going for a walk or a run, drawing, writing your feelings/thoughts, etc. personally, although i want nothing more than to doomscroll/lay on the floor all day, keeping your body and mind busy and occupied helps

and when those feelings start to consume you (i know it's very hard to communicate in a state like that) maybe a "hey, can you give me a minute?" or having to step away, then revisiting, can benefit too

i struggle with avoidance, so communication is definitely hard. it seems to have helped us a little though

wishing you the best of luck(:
