she seemed happy, I wonder why she killed herself tho? She left a suicide note
Yeah, it can look all good on the surface but you just never know even if the person has their life "sorted out".yeah.. like you never know what's in someone else's head.
Do you think it's done because the suffering don't want to trouble others with their problems?Yeah, it can look all good on the surface but you just never know even if the person has their life "sorted out".
That's one factor, also because they feel like no one would probably relate or provide support where they actually show they're understanding of their struggles instead of hearing the same old platitudes which I know are coming from a good place but, those words are clearly not enough anymore. I don't like telling anyone my problems, family included so maybe that's why.Do you think it's done because the suffering don't want to trouble others with their problems?
She had mental health issues, sources sayshe seemed happy, I wonder why she killed herself tho? She left a suicide note
I remember who you are talking about and I agree with you! Like if someone sees me here looking for resources they will be in shock too it's because people can't see inside us and most of us carries painThere was a case a couple years back when a former Miss USA jumped to her death (I think from her apartment), and another where a top model did similar.
Beauty, prestige, talent, money, seeming that the world is your oyster - these days so much is invested in what life looks like online to the masses. Social media is a crock of shit. I think it actually causes more people to feel like they're failures because of all the fake "perfection" online.
Being a teen and young adult before social media imploded and before everyone 5+ had smart phones and iPads was hard enough. I feel like it must be so much harder now. You never escape the court of public opinion and it's much more difficult to not compare yourself to others and feel lacking.
Cheslie Kryst was absolutely terrified and bummed about turning 30, she publicly stated she worried her value would run out. She CTB at 30. Online image is so youth obsessed, toxic and stresses perfection, and for some people it's in their hands and ready to trigger them every waking minute of the day. While I wish everyone had the right to a safe and peaceful CTB, I wish she'd have gotten help and recovered. Not being 21 anymore is not the end of the world but there's an entire genre of TikTok videos ready to tell you otherwise. Life is fucked. There was a case a couple years back when a former Miss USA jumped to her death (I think from her apartment), and another where a top model did similar.
I think you touched the point. Even we that are not famous (idk maybe someone famous is hiding on this forum also, to learn how to use SN or N without being discovered) are afraid of aging, imagine if you put yourself under the spotlight and everyone is putting on you all these great expectations or constantly criticize you... you need to have strong guts... that's why i hate social media, i want to be able to win and loose without that serious impact.Cheslie Kryst was absolutely terrified and bummed about turning 30, she publicly stated she worried her value would run out. It's depends on personality type. People who are extroverted, narcissistic love attention and fame. To me that's the worst thing imaginable. Even going to the sanctuary and stuff I do it for the animals and not to post online and get "clout" as they call it now. It's just how my past way with animals so it's my only gateway to it today.I think you touched the point. Exactly!!! It's all fake also! You will never post something bad on social media! It is disgusting. They became all doctors, models, animalists and pure-souls!It's depends on personality type. Social media means everything has to be put online. And it must be positive or drive engagement. It's cancer and trust me… I had cancer lmao.
Edit: I've just read this and I realise it sounds too autistic and I'm going to have to ask them about dyslexia as well; ultimately what I'm saying is that social media isn't social at all - it's isolating. It's all fake and for show and it seems like it creates voids for anyone who engages with it.
When I say fake. I mean in the sense that the motive for making "content" or a post isn't exactly as genuine as it seems. If a page is for an animal sanctuary then yes you'd expect that kind of content maybe for donations or volunteers or to help, etc. however most account tend to be individuals or couples or a group of people and this is where it gets tricky especially when money and sponsors get mixed in.Exactly!!! Yes it can be, there are still passionate ppl out there. When I say fake. I mean in the sense that the motive for making "content" or a post isn't exactly as genuine as it seems. Because doctors is linked with animal stuff I do get videos on my YT feed and it is doctors who have quit and do YT only now because of the money and extra time.
you reacted with the "yay" reaction to Dream's comment, and the yay reaction often represents laughing. there was nothing in Dream's comment that was funny. and if you looked right at the "descriptor" or how it's called - the words under the profile picture - she specifically states "Disabled. Hard talk, don't argue, make fun, etc"; and with the yay reaction you could be perceived as making fun of her post.
I don't even remember why I put "yay". anyways... if it affects her I removed it, but nah, wasn't making fun of her, I'm not a shitbag.you reacted with the "yay" reaction to Dream's comment, and the yay reaction often represents laughing. there was nothing in Dream's comment that was funny. and if you looked right at the "descriptor" or how it's called - the words under the profile picture - she specifically states "Disabled. does that answer your question mark?
It makes you wonder if people with mental health issues should even have kids in the first place or if they even are capable of giving them a healthy childhood.
