Resource thread regarding causes of SN method failure

Hi, so I first thought that SN is a pretty reliable method, unless you didn't take enough amount, vomited and didn't have backup glass mainly. But I recently read a thread in which a member consumed 20+gm sn and was still alive. here is link to thread

So I want to know what may be reasons behind this, or how can we make this method more reliable, because this sounds a bit controversial. So everyone, please feel free to share your opinions and thoughts.

Do not buy or use Pro-Cure or Reagent-inc SN. That user failed because they used Pro-cure (PC) brand SN which is known to be a scam. There are a lot of garbage products out there masquerading as SN.
