The one who doodles.

Alright first post I guess:

I've been contemplating making this for a while as I like to make games and I have a lot of shit that's gonna overflow the bottle pretty damn soon so why not combine the 2? I have a feeling that this'll make me feel better even though it's very risky but I really doubt anyone would try to do an investigation to find out who the woman behind the cauliflower is and who the hell would care? Maybe some bored video essayist on YouTube will drag this from the shadows and fuck everything up but I'm not famous or well known here so I really doubt it.

I suppose it's like a visualisation of my current mental state in interactivity form in the style of all these crappy doodles I put on here.

I've started writing the script and I'm intertwining extracts from my diary entries to make it feel more legit. Is this a good idea? No. Am I sane enough to care? Also no. I suppose I'll put it here in some way, shape or form once it's done. Idk what the rules are for this kind of stuff but I'll figure it out later. Guess it'll be like one of those infamous games that lurk on the dark web and are occasionally talked about by small YouTubers but are all mysterious and stuff. I just hope it doesn't cause any terrible attention to this site as I love this site so much.

That's cool you are making a game AND putting all that mental health shit into some use. If it's an outlet or helps a little getting it out in art form, go for it no doubt!
Nietzsche said "all art about death is life-affirming as the artist takes power over death" and I say "Yeah what he said" so even if it is not about death and just your mental struggles, it is still taking some control over it and sharing ur experience that I'm sure others can relate to. And that's neat.
Also using parts of your personal diary and experience is... ok? very common I'd say.

Also also, I've seen you mentioned here and there that you panic a lot about being identified or ppl making essays of you and so on, which I get, I am so paranoid of leaving no traces of myself on the internet... but honestly I don't think you've done anything wrong by being here, and I agree that is not likely to happen. I know the brain won't listen to that usually so i feel you tho <3

Also also also, don't know what sort of game you have in mind, if it's a visual novel of sorts, interactive story type? I love games like those specially about mental health and I could give u some recs, or in any case if you wanna update on the development I'd be interested and that'd be cool :3

It sounds interesting. Not that I've tried them but I think there are 'games' or, at least simulations on what it's like to live with dementia for example. I think a game could be even better. Maybe where commands stop working or, work in a different way to how you'd expect. Where NPC's react to you in a weird way etc. Will it be more figurative or abstract do you think?
