I know I'm claustrophobic and not sure how I can get around the mask thing and covering my head with a exit bag. Wondering if an oxygen deprivation tent would help avoid the exit bag part. Oxygen deprivation is used by climbers to prep for high altitudes at home. Would these work....

I'm claustrophobic and I'm using the EEBD hood, larger than an Exit Bag, I don't feel claustrophobic with the hood

Don't worry, once the nitrogen gas flows inside your bag/hood, it'll be like breathing normal air. Your body wont notice a thing. If you're still concerned, i'd suggest using a SCBA setup.
