• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I know the tourniquet method is unreliable but I am still thinking of doing that after taking sn for the case that the sn won't kill me that the tourniquet will kill me and wise versa.

I understand the concern that one or other method might fail but to me, it sounds like this would be even more distressing...

The side effects of SN tend to be vomiting (even with anti-emetics) and shortness of breath. I imagine the tourniquet method would restrict the airway and only compound both symptoms. I don't know though- I'm no expert.

Have you managed to get a hold of SN?

Tourniquet method is untested largely, it is also extremely hard to pull off as usually you will have to keep adjusting the things you use to block the arteries until proper blockage is achieved and you breathing also isn't restricted. Can't imagine doing this right easily let alone under the effects of SN. Bad idea.

I suspect the tourniquet method might simply be impossible for some folks cuz of beck thickness and physiology.

Shouldn't the vomiting mostly stop after some time?
Tourniquet should block the carotid arteries not restrict airway.

Yeah- I guess so but I think if vomiting does occur- people try to down a second glass- not sure how easy that would be to do with a tourniquet on. I don't know much about the tourniquet method to be honest- is it like partial hanging?

Then how about putting the tourniquet on after drinking the second glass?
Tourniquet is like partial hanging but worse.

I really don't know. Honestly, I'm not that clued up on methods. I know people have passed out, fallen and smacked their heads against things after taking SN. It's recommended to lie/sit down after taking it. I don't know how quickly it affects people- it seems to vary. I think things like dizziness and confusion are likely considering what is happening in the body- the major organs are being deprived of oxygen. I would think what @PurpleParadigm said would be accurate- that it would be even harder to do the tourniquet method with the effects of SN. Still- I don't know. I would definitely recommend doing all the research you can here on both methods- so you can make the most informed choice.

Tourniquet was my method of choice if I didn't have access to N or SN. I do have SN now, though I wouldn't combine it with the tourniquet method.

Tourniquet method, when done right, is quick. Only 2 items are needed: rope and a stick (a ruler would work, an Ikea bed slat for example…that's what I would likely use if I didn't have SN). The issue/worry I have with the tourniquet method is unconscious flailing. Then the tourniquet may become loose and all goes to shit.

If I were to use the Tourniquet method, I'd not take SN prior. I'd likely take a benzodiazepine and/or get high (ganj).
