I'm finishing up some letters tonight and I have the house to myself tomorrow morning so I think I'll finally go through with hanging. I'm scared I'll mess it up or chicken out, but at least I have a plan.

I'm gonna do partial suspension from the door to the attic. Dad will get home a few hours later and find me. I'll have my will (doesn't really matter if they follow through, it's mostly just a wish on my part), a suicide note, and letters to each of my family members on a desk nearby in clear sight. I hope I won't traumatize him too much, but this is the best way to go about it for me.

I have never attempted hanging because of the fear of failure, but I wish you the best in whatever happens. I hope you find relief from your suffering.
Update: I chickened out when I couldn't get into a good position. When I tried it the first time a few days ago I almost passed out instantly, but I couldn't find that sweet spot again. Then I heard a car and was afraid it was someone coming home early.
I'm so scared that I'll never build up the courage to go through with it. The pain is unbearable but survival instincts are still much stronger. I hate this so much.

I relate to this, I'm sorry you also feel this way, it's a horrible position to be in. With hanging I also worry it won't be quick enough, which adds more fear. Best wishes whatever you decide to do and I hope you can find peace.
