The typical thing that you hear there the classic boy with cancer who has had 16 operations (one of them sex change) telling how happy he is to stay alive and be able to smile while holding in his weak hands a photo of Jesus Christ. Then you look in the mirror and say to yourself, "That kid is stupid, or I'm Albert Einstein."
Then you go (happy to be Albert Einstein) and enter Whatsapp. You watch past conversations waiting for someone to write to you, but nothing... (people must be intimidated by you, after all you are albert einstein)... After much thought you open the chat of your friend, the only one you have, the one who "cares most about you" and who is limited to talking to you only when you write to him. You tell him that you plan to commit suicide in a week. You say goodbye, you thank him for being there, you tell him to comfort your parents, all very emotional. And then he goes and says, "Stop talking nonsense"... Traduction: "I've never felt what you experience, and I think you just want to get my attention"
And it doesn't matter how many phone numbers you have in your contacts... there is a number that suicidal people never dare to dial or jokingly: The phone of hope. Why? well, first of all because the word hope does not exist in our dictionary, I even spend a little work to write it imagine understanding it or looking for it in the contacts. But I have my own theory. They know that the more accessible you are to someone, the less they value your company?... well, because the phone of hope will always be there for you and that makes us give a shit. Maybe if they charged us, or put a schedule... If you had to qualify to use it, know how to dance or sing... maybe so we would value it more and more people would call.
Then... you commit suicide, and you fail. If you end up with all the neurons and limbs in perfect condition, then the worst thing that can happen to you (besides being alive), is to be sent to the psychiatric ward. That's when my favorite part comes. Your uncle the comedian goes to visit you at the hospital when they are about to discharge you, he approaches you quickly, looks at you and shouts: What you need is to party, make you a girlfriend, everything is overcome, pay attention to me who have had 26 women and 85 children.
You walk through the SS forum, reading post and comments... many times you want to comment, but you have so many insecurities and you give your social life so lost, that you do not do it... The worst thing is that as it is a forum of suicides, most think so, and in the end we are more than a thousand people connected but only ten are those who dare to speak.
(Yes, I know that all this is terrible... you can offend me without fear.)
And ignoring the title of the post, I'll end up with something I don't understand. I don't understand why suicide is such a taboo subject. And with so many people who are in a state of constant suffering without deserving it, and problems of which there must be accepted there is no solution. I do not understand why the very advanced society we have today does not do a little empathy and leaves us just... rest at once.
I think family members should understand that if a loved one is suffering and there is nothing that can be done. The best thing they can try is to at least spend a few happy last moments by their side... without drama, leaving aside the selfishness...
But well tell me what you think.
