There is nothing that can convince us of living, when everyday gets worse

There is nothing that can convince us. Of looking forward for tommorow. When all it does is get worse. When I always find a new reason. Where the universe seems against us. Tearing us apart limb from limb. Getting under our skin and splitting it. as though the universe is out to get us. And torture us in the most horrible way possible. Where it travels the length of our spine, to our brain ripping us from the inside out. I cant be the only one who feels this way. An outside force I cant explain. That horribly wants us to suffer the most. And everyday just before bed I wonder. If this would be the last breath I take. Before I have to wake up to an animals world again. Where thoughts feel just like thoughts of a distant animal and actions are not only real and damaging. I dont want to be an animal, but the only way this animal world gives us a way out is what many have already done. And of course the animals dont like that, when we leave them. Because they are an animal that is living. And those who are dying, I pray for a peaceful leaving that is swift and true. How can I say anything else But Im envious of those who left.

Well said. I think the world wasn't made to consider human suffering in the first place; we have to fight for all our basic needs- water, food, shelter. From the beginning it's been fighting against nature to get those things, while nature has no concept of suffering. Droughts, freezing temperatures, earthquakes and what we call disasters- these are all just nature existing as it always has, and humans experiencing physical and mental pain trying to survive another day.

Then you add human decisions into the picture, and all the harm that is knowingly and willingly caused by other humans. It's not surprising that for many of us, the result is suffering with each day that drags on. There are wondrous things in nature too, and lovely moments with humans, but those things are also fighting against a world that wasn't made for them.
