Suffering is suffering, no one gets to this point without having experienced severe pain. Life is forced upon you, at any moment if you decide you want it over then that's final.

If I say I want to die because the other guy gets everything in life that I want but can't get, then I'm gone. Why settle for ugly peasant life eating stale bread while the wealthy, handsome, charming king gets the fancy feasts and life of luxury.

I'm currently still alive right now ONLY because I got more money, otherwise I'd be gone right now. I was this close to painting my room red until I found out about the cash. But now that I have this money, I'm getting a sharper knife.

Think about what it means to take your own life, to go against nature's intended purpose for you. You don't get to such an existential point by having a great life full of promise and prosperity I can tell you that much.

If someone's life is unfulfilling to them, and they deem it unlivable. That a solid reason to end it. We eventually die anyways, so it's just a matter of if your life is worth the long route.

You've hit the nail on the head with everything here. Life is inherently suffering. Why should I settle for this lower life? My life is unfulfilling and miserable. Always has been and always will be. I don't ever see it changing.

I think that's more than enough reason for me to end it.

I agree with you, but I need to make a distinction.

We all die, but how we get there is different. I myself don't believe we should take our lives just because we perceive life as horrible by definition—but that it becomes valid when we are at peace with that decision. Because your pain and mine are felt individually. For me, that is the crux of the matter.

"Whoever is weary of life and asks themselves: to be or not to be?... must also consider their more confused brothers, whom they can help, not by making shoes or planting cabbages for them, but by helping them achieve a better stance." — Philosophie der erlosung

But here's something I've realized: people's suffering is shaped by how they understand the world. Ecclesiastes 1:18 – "For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief."

So, another person's suffering may be unbearable to me, but for them it might be bearable... I now understand. Life is full of IFs and ELSEs... but in the end, only the individual can decide. After all, who else should decide whether to live or die, if not the person themselves—the owner of their own life? Something that, throughout history, societies have always denied: individual autonomy.

I understand, for me simply just existing is enough to make me wish for death, I'll just always prefer to not exist than suffer in this dreadful, futile and torturous existence and simply just existing is torturous to me, all I could ever hope and wish for is non-existence, for me ceasing to exist would be the positive solution to find peace from all future unnecessary suffering in this existence that just leads to decay and death anyway, this existence will always be a mistake to me.

To quote a movie that doesn't really need to be named, "I will not accept a life I don't deserve".
