We will all die eventually..some of us want it sooner for certain reasons..the way people talk about death - voluntarily or involuntarily - is embarrassing..humans prove again they are nothing but selfish small minded species
it's very one dimensional. the more 'open' perceptions of death are only ever based on lies and imagination (religion & spirituality) that soothe the instinctual fear. otherwise, it's just a bunch of shaming based on, again, religion, for the taking of one's own life, or extensive guilt tripping and grief.
