I was standing on a boat and was about to jump into cold water and die there, but I decided to find a better method. This happened almost six years ago, but the survival instinct and the lack of peaceful lethal aids have kept me alive ever since even though I am not afraid of death and the death process. The survival instinct tries to force me to die of old age. But I have never wanted to get old and die of an age-related illness.
Human life is valued too much in the society of today. Life is programmed to live in a world where we all have to die anyway. Life on Earth is programmed to live, otherwise all animals and plants would be dead. The police put a lot of work into human death: murder and suicide prevention. The task of the healthcare is to prolong human life, no matter how broken our body is. The fear of death haunts the human animal like nothing else.
How can people have children into a world where we have to choose between years of suffering and suicide? What is the point of having children in a world where everything will die eventually? How can people have children in a world with overpopulation, pollution and war? We are heading for an overpopulation disaster and possibly a nuclear war (World War III) which can annihilate humanity.
What does the cause of death matter - suicide, disease, accident or murder? In the end, lethal disease will kill us all. Life expectancy is too high but people take it for granted anyway. We will all be dead and forgotten in the future - so why are we forced to meaningless suffering when we should have euthanasia instead?
My grandmother was tormented for 30 years before she died. She lived alone during this time period and she suffered from heart disease for 10 years before her death. She wanted to die but she had no knowledge of suicide methods and death. I do not want to end up in the same situation.
However, thinking and writing about death will not make it happen. I read about a 12 year old boy who took his own life. Why is it harder for others to die who are much older? I can not understand it. I should not be here, I should be dead instead!
