The state of this world just makes my desire to die stronger and stronger

I seriously think the world is in its worst state ever. Wars, inflation, poverty, unaffordability, everything is just so bloody expensive, money is never enough, and I see no end or improvement in sight. I have a job but no future projects, no ideas on where to go or what to do and the world just simply sucks.

I'd rather just simply die and goodbye. I probably will never own a house, a family, never have a pension, so is worth living? I don't think so. Life is so bloody overrated!!!1

I'm sorry some people on here are invalidating your reasons to die. They do it to me too because many on here think dying by choice is a privilege essentially lol. Your reasons are your reasons and they are valid

I think it would depress me more if I spent money on things but all I buy besides food is CTB related stuff. But it is still depressing and can be stressful, seeing the price on anything I buy

this world sure does suck working a minimum wage job people just work to survive to go on working without any real future here other than to go on working to survive
i wish we lived in a world where everyone had a decent home and plenty of money to do the things they enjoy doing without having to work for them the ideal world

To me it seems like what they feel you can't just guess how deeply it's affecting and if there issues are related to it what do you mean everyone feels this? Not having enough money means they won't be able to get the deserved treatment, deserved not according to me according to the rest of the world and that could be the gist if you can't be nice don't forget this also is a recovery forum and this place is getting weird as the members are increasing leave please if you don't like a post. These are things that exist you were never obliged to read this I feel bad for this person. What if they wanted to write more and couldn't or felt confused as to what to write. It just is hurtful what you all are saying here and I have noticed a few people creating fuss under threads and posting hurtful things. Feels like you are fine and think it's nice to joke here or humiliate someone who is already hurt? Why choose this platform there are many move on man.

P.s sorry looking to talk you didn't seem rude or anything but don't invalidate it I see you didn't you said I hope these aren't the reasons but could you ask more why they want to if you are curious I am not supporting anyone but it felt like everyone feels this isn't 100% correct maybe the intensity can differ which you should respect and as I said they could have not included the other things or this is also their concern sometimes we have feelings so one day we could feel strongly about something and about something else the other week but it means they don't have other issues or these issues are not issues?
Whatever they are thinking I am also here to talk if they want and I would be happy to here about anything if they need emotional support. Noone is encouraging them to do anything we are here for emotional support and to respect their choices in life if they need us we could also talk.

Everyone has the right to exit at a time of their own choosing and nobody needs to justify their reasons for leaving. It isn't like any of us asked to be here in the first place. Suicide doesn't even need a reason, its a personal decision when to leave. We all view life differently after all and people should respect others views on life.

It really is such a cruel world that we live in and I personally don't see life as being worth living. Experiencing life is just so pointless and I always see non existence as being preferable. Living doesn't interest me and I don't see it as being desirable. Life is just suffering with no benefit or purpose and also things could get so much worse at any moment. Sorry for the responses from these other people if anyone is misbehaving report to the mod. I will myself right now I am going off if I saw any of these repeat this behaviour again they are no longer going to be here. We don't know all the reasons they wish to die. This is close to the worst behavior I've seen on this forum so far.

I'm sure you're taking some kind of "tough love" stance, but it can easily harm more than it helps. And who'd want to post in such a hostile forum? Not every single post will pass someone's gatekeeping standards of personal misery. Sometimes they'll be more abstract.

Please don't invalidate why people feel suicidal. I think it's completely normal that this depressing world contributes to someone's nihilistic outlook on life, feeling you live in a world that's cruel and violent can definitely fuel the suicide ideation of some people. When I look at the state of the world and the pessimistic outlook for the future in regards to explotation in our capitalist system, climate change and how we destroy our own planet, the potential for war that could cause a lot of devastation on the entire planet... all of that definitely contributes to a strong sense of existential dread, especially when somebody suffers from depression. I understand why people feel lost and how it contributes to somebody's desire to leave this world behind even more. It's just a question of perspective.

No these reasons are just the tip of the iceberg. But it is a constant source of anxiety that makes me hate myself, the others, and everything. I know other people might feel the same but different people perceive things in different ways.

I hate the way the world is. I was born into poverty and disadvantage. Lots of things have changed but I am still surrounded by poverty and disadvantage. I now have the means to make a slightly better life. I can't because of what my past did to me. "You can take the boy out of the gutter but you can't take the gutter out of the boy". When I recount even a little about my past experiences people say it sounds like Dickensian 19th century squalor. It was the second half of the 20th century. And people wonder what backward benighted country I inhabited and still live in. The UK.
