• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    šŸ‘‰ View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Ever wonder if constantly putting something off for whatever reason, whether it's fear, caution, that survival instinct kicking in, or just the feeling that "it's never the right time" could eventually turn into a serious problem? I mean the risk of reaching a point where you no longer get to decide on your own terms. One sudden event, an accident, a stroke… and that choice, whatever it was, is no longer yours to make. Is that something that crosses your mind? Does the thought bother you?

Yeah. That's why it's good to have a living will, DNR, worked out what what you're beliefs and conscience should circumstances take a drastic turn for the worse, ways and means secured as a type of insurance policy and ideally a trusted person to be an advocate in the case that communication becomes an issue.

For some people merely owning a gun satisfies the "just in case" fears. The caveat is that being prepared can tip the scales toward an impulsive decision. Sort of like junk food, once it's in the cupboard it's going to get eaten so best not to buy it in the first place.
