• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I'm sorry you're not sleeping too. To be up all night while everyone is sleeping is terrifying.

I have both middle and terminal. Middle: I wake up several times during the night (normal for humans is <5 times). Terminal: I wake up hours early. I go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 3am for absolutely no reason.

Honestly, I have been living with it for decades and I have learned that you can be really productive while everyone else is sleeping and not bothering you. 😅

I go to bed at 12. I sleep probably around 2 and then I get up at 4-5a.. I hardly get 3-4 hours sleep. During that time all what I think about is killing myself. It's overwhelming and it needs to end. I'm just too scared to do it

I take a muscle relaxer 3 times a day if i need it.. So, I sleep most of my days away so I don't plan an attempt or have too much time to think. I couldn't imagine living without the ability to sleep. I wake up and take another one. I'm usually only up until the next pill kicks in. So taking another now.

I don't mind taking anything but my doctor is not giving me strong sleeping pills or muscle relaxer. Doctors over here are so possessed with the word " addictive". Anyway thank you so much for sharing.. I'm see if I can get some muscle relaxer until I build the courage to kms

Or you sleep too much...to escape it all. Regular Benadryl use is believed to cause dementia over time, but IDGAF anymore.

I'm sorry to hear that. Yes, this addiction crap has been taken too far. The muscle relaxer I take is called Zanaflex. Everyone I know who takes it has never complained it makes them sleepy. I'm just so grateful that's a side effect it gives me. Even sleeping pills don't work for me! Sleeping has helped me buy more time. When those thoughts are getting loud again, I just sleep. I hope soon your Dr can find something that can help you sleep. Maybe ask for that medicine and see if it helps you.

I abuse benadryl so much. I take about 6-7 pills a day. Perhaps that play a part in my bad memory too. Idc because I need to escape and my escape is sleep.

You're welcome. And you can always look up medication and reviews and if you think it will work, just ask your dr.

I take a Benadryl each night before bed and it REALLY helps and it is non-habit forming, meaning you don't get addicted to it.

I wholeheartedly agree.

I have pretty much tried every antidepressant under the sun that claims to be sleep-inducing. I spent a lot of money on supplements and a rather new medication called Daridorexant (since it wasn't covered by my health insurance). None of that crap worked for me, and it messed up my brain even more. Exercise makes no difference. If anything helps, it's Zopiclone, a "real" sleeping pill. I'm probably already dependent on it, and it's incredibly difficult to get it prescribed. Having sleep apnea on top of that makes my insomnia even worse. Oh, and having noisy neighbors is the worst.

You're right and when not sleeping it will cause psychosis. That's why I want to die. I don't want to have mor symptoms it's already hard as it's

I also had a huge problem with insomnia. It started in September, 2023 when I moved to another town for another job. I couldn't sleep, I went 2-3 days with literally no sleep at all. After a few weeks like that, I started having panick attacks. After couple of months, I became severly depressed and suicidal. Since then, my sleep improved a lot thanks to a tricyclic antidepressant (Amitriptyline) which is an old medication, developed in the 1960s so docs don't really prescribe it anymore. Anyways, Amitriptyline saved me from insomnia but I take almost the maximum dose of 150 mgs. It didn't help much with my depression and suicidal ideation.

Thank you for sharing, Danny. I don't know why we can't get Amitriptyline. SSRIs don't even work at least not with me..

No, I also tried SSRIs and it made my insomnia worse. The only thing that helped was Amitriptyline.

I'm not stressing about medications. I'm just gonna kms I don't think I'll ever change. I have to decide what method to use
