I wonder if somebody from Asia is reading this thread. It would be nice if people from different timezones announced when new year begins for them there. I feel like I will probably be first one to announce it as I am from Eastern Europe (And yeah It's almost 2 AM in my country right now so I kinda feel sleepy)

In South Korea, it's 14 hours ahead of the US.

Exactly, that's what's so annoying about it. They complain if you're too quiet, but if you talk - no one listens to you anyway, so why bother? They want you to talk, but they only want you to say things that they approve of. God forbid you should talk about your REAL thoughts and feelings!

People don't listen to me IRL because of my rebelliousness and I don't like people acting so fake. And plus people don't like confrontation much

One of my coworkers is trying to get me to be social, and talk... I mean I almost swear she knows my name here, and has read my posts she's pushing it so much lol.

Oh gosh the co-workers are the worst! I used to work in an office and people told me I should socialize more. I was thinking..."umm I'm here to work so I can pay my bills". My manager even got mad at me for not telling people good morning and goodbye after they all knew I was going thru a pretty severe personal crisis at the time.

People don't like quiet people in general because of the stereotype that they're depressed as well. When I'm quiet, I'm just thinking too many things in my head.
