Since I have begun to experience insomnia now, I concluded the only way around it is to just not go to sleep. I just sit and stare at my laptop as I refresh the SS page, and watch movies, about 3 minutes at a time, until I fall asleep. The result is for the first time in my life, during the day, whilst refreshing SS, I sometimes start to "nod off." Today that happened, and when I woke in a daze, I suddenly had a sort of panic attack, thinking that I had completely slept through @Jean4's New Year party, and that I was at that moment living on UK time! Thankfully, neither was true, because I have been trying to think of clever things to quip or "gif" on New Year's eve, and I have to learn fast to keep up with @Squiddy and @Jean4, and all the great food and drink picture posters.
