Weenie Hut Jr. is amazing though. If that place existed I would go every day. They've got a robot serving you milkshakes!

Just got out of my English class. I sort of think, whenever anyone tells me that I have work to do, that I should just commit suicide. It's a coping mechanism, I guess.

Yeah, I like the nerdy fish that hang out there too. . . Debating whether being bald or shaved is a hairdo or not. :pfff:
And I love that Patrick shows up there on Mega Weenie Mondays. Someone should really open up a place like that. I bet it would get a lot of business.

Sounds like me. Every single time I head to work or wake up for work the day. God I want to kill myself I should just do it so I don't need to go or do anything. Anytime something bad happens, wish I was dead I want to kill myself real bad right now. It's a great coping mechanism surprisingly lol.

Lol. I sort of get that about doing certain things that would take time and effort, wherein the results would be irrelevant to me since I'll be dead by then. pretty much anything past the next two weeks I'm blasé about.

There was an episode of the Simpsons like that where Homer ate a poisonous blowfish and thought he was going to die in 2 days or something. Ned Flanders invited him to The Flanders family cookout that was happening in 3 days or whatever. Homer agreed to go and also agreed to bring the thickest, juiciest steaks he could find to throw on the grill. Then he was laughing to himself, "The jokes on him. I'll be dead by then".
Then, of course, Homer doesn't die and is forced to attend the cookout and bring the steaks though he doesn't want to go. Stupid Flanders! :pfff:

This dropping stuff is seriously starting to annoy me... it's getting hard to hide it from people now. As long as I don't drop pcs, monitors and similar I should be fine. But really... this almost dropping my dropings and spilling stuff is getting pretty annoying.

I love that episode too! One of my favorite Squidward episodes is the one where he decides to sell his house and Patrick and SpongeBob go in and pretend to be Squidward when the realtor is there and mess up the sale.

Well if it makes you feel any better.... people have died from 1/25th the amount, or even 1/10th the amount by accident... so there's that

Yes, I'm like 99.98% sure that this is going to work, but there's always that little nagging part of you that has a tiny doubt that it might not work. But I can't really see how I could've prepared any better than I have. In my case if something happens and I survive it's because there was an extremely freak occurrence of some sort.

yeah, there's always doubt. best anyone can do is try and reassure :)

I mean sure there are some absolutely 100% guarenteed ways... but the planning and absolute terror/gruesomeness and location scouting of it is obscene.

So yeah, like even 5 9's of chance of succes, or even the 99.98% (or higher assuming no one stops by) is More than enough! Plus side, you'd have enough for a second attempt if rescued, and it wasn't beyond the 'death no matter what' point.
I seriously wish a DNR applied to suicides.... but no, they don't

Yes, a DNR should apply to suicides.
I think all of us on this site just fear what we know is going to be the immediate aftermath of a failed attempt (ie forced confinement in the psych ward, Family and friends telling you how selfish you are, people telling you your problems are not that bad, etc.- we've all heard it before, which is probably one of the reasons we're here on this site).

They wouldn't be able to tell conclusively off the bat if it's a suicide attempt or not. Rather they save as many as they can when they find them, since some people might just be ODing or accidentally killing themselves.

I keep wanting to talk to my GP about getting a DNR (I have before but she talked me out of it) but if I do it after I've been talking about euthanasia and everything, I'm worried that will set off alarm bells.

I've developed a problem of dropping things, too. A few days ago, I came very close to losing my grip on a restaurant tray. The tray moved enough for the soda to spill everywhere.

Without going into details... I was a CNA as mentioned before.

I don't want to be revived. Even if I wasn't suicidal, I wouldn't want revived. I don't have a DNR because I also know, they don't know if you even have one, and the default is to assume you don't have one, and only stop once they confirm beyond doubt you do have one, and then only after your family decides if it should apply.

So really a DNR is useless, sadly.

but sometimes they do follow it if they know for certain

What if Someome had copies of the actual signed DNR form posted on/near Their body when they were found?
