Me? Well, I'm also not so anxious or sad as usual, but work is annoying and I feel low on energy - not sleepy, but probably won't be able to do much productive stuff with my life today

I say don't worry about that. Life gives enough shit already to feel bad about.

Oh as a thing...if I'm not really on for like 9-11 hours It's because my co-worker who had pink eye and another thing is taking another day of since she just got diagnosed with it yesterday.
I have to replace and try to setup a proprietary dual printer setup that I don't have access to the drivers because only the banks have it and they have dual authencation!

Sounds like you'll have some fun on that one for sure. That sucks that you can't just source the drivers from elsewhere.

Yeah...I went to the company's website and they were like "we don't supply it to guarante compatibility with banks!" Effing bs. It scans and marks as scanned. Its a check scanner. Banks don't have teams to do device drivers.
Oh I say printer as it's later as a printer not a scanner and is listed as a printing device when you go to print
Its printing is a simple "scanned mark" like thing

I'm curious as to how you'll get around the dual authentication then without access. You'll basically have to hack the damn thing in a way. Sounds like such overkill for a printer/copier/scanner. But I can kinda see it if it's designed with checks in mind.

Yeah, I have a general idea of VM-ing the existing, running it as a VM, doing a "basic" install or otherwise "sharing" the device on the vm and installing it on the host PC to the VM, then trying it that way... Granted the one does have a win10 driver that is on the old pc, so it may work, but not 100% sure, it's the old one that's discontinued like 5 years ago that's the annoyingone! And another pc that has a scanner with licenced software that costs like 12K+ (that we're going with a newer version -- so it's stupid to pay that if it won't matter in weeks).
I'm 5'11... well unless spine wasn't totally screwed, then I'd be like 6'1/2

towering over men is annoying... towering over women is annoying. Neat thing is most of the women I work with are 5'10+!
