Many years ago we had a Quark XPress training course at the newspaper. We were going from mac to pc with a new editorial system.
One of the attendees was a legend in his own lunchtime. The sort of bumbling caricature that you couldn't make up. Let's call him K.
Our trainer was instructing us...

Trainer: 'Now hover your mouse over the word and right-click'
K: 'OK I've done it'

So it turns out to scheduled an introductory meeting with another company for the exact same time today. Boy has my head been out if it.

Fortunately these ind guys are willing to reschedule ti Friday.

where was my mind while I was doing this? Am I scheduling interviews in my sleep?

Me now Im paranoid about responding to threads asking for help cus I wouldn't be surprised if fake accounts popped up in an attempt to entrap.
Ironic that now people may come here and not get support due to this fear of engaging.

I almost brought the addy I had but I left that and my scarf at home by accident. Oh well. I normally don't hate doing inventory, but this one I do. This is the 4th time we've been to this warehouse and we're still not done. Screw Kristen Cavalier and her expensive ass accessories. Haha. They do have a $3,000 coffee machine here, though..so that's neat.

NoYes Seriously. It's the problem. Some are, Some aren't. It's why like 95% of my posts are here.... ok 99% . So many seem to be iffy.. but hate to snub someone legitimate who might just be not as good at expressing themselves for fear of.... well same reasons but in reverse.

Nope. If you have any questions send em to me. I need new chew toys. I don't generally answer the new accounts with new pics until they prove themselves.

I now only respond to posts of accounts that have been here a while, I also will no longer post my own threads, IF a new post pops up and is a new user, I will only reply if its clear it is a troll, there was one yesterday....!! I won't go into it, admin thankfully removed the thread, but due to recent light, trust will be low for a while with new users

Ice cold showers sometimes help so Ill try that again but it didn't work earlier. I'm still getting my head around them and I haven't really figured out what works for me yet
