I've done multi-day fasts before so i should be ok, although i used to do it under very different circumstances.... if i get too hungry i'll cave and have some carbs. hopefully that won't impact me too much tomorrow.

hey guys i need some practical advice. I am not leaving a will but i left detailed bank instructions for my family to claim my assets. Is this a bad idea?
I just read that without a will, a person has to apply for 'letters of administration" from a probate court instead of getting probate, and i'm not sure how much more that will complicate the process. Trying to make things as easy for my family as possible. I'm going to do some more googling but wanted to see quickly if anyone had ideas.
Don't even know how they're going to get into my home after EMS collect my body. Gah i don't know why i didn't think about this sooner.

I like that one. I like to watch "Too Cute" on the Animal Planet channel & watch them when they're giving the long-haired puppies and kittens their first baths and then they blow dry their hair and they have that slow motion photography like they're models.
Of course, the puppies and kittens are usually not very happy.

My things are in both my and mom's name--we did that because we found out that even with a will, even with estate papers, companies made it annoying and practically were like "drag the body in for proof" and took months to close accounts or release money. And that's with estate, will, power of attorney, everything done by a lawyer.
So we have everything in both because we both have access regardless--to the important things. non important? eff em. anything left over, sure, otherwise, nope.
Doesn't help, but just saying that even with one, it might not help as much as you think either. at least based on my experience.

Fuck. I'm double checking the relevant legislation and i'm only getting bits and pieces of the whole puzzle. I'm worried that, like you say, practically it will still be a pain in the ass for them to do accomplish all this.
It's not the end of the world cause i can take the time to do this, but my condition isn't going to make it easy and i'm getting sick of waiting!!

But yeah... no matter what it could suck. So it may come down to "maybe" being easier, or "no difference" or "it would be" all depending on the agency, direction of the wind, whatever.
