*My Conversation Right Now With My Doctor*
I just called my doctor's answering service from the shower. He called back immediately.
Doctor: Hello Jean. What's wrong?
Jean: I'm calling to let you know, I am on 3L of oxygen, oxygen level is 80, I'm i. The shower now lightheaded and dizzy and I know there is nothing you can do, but it hurts like hell when I breathe.
Doctor: Sit down when you shower
Jean: I am sitting in the shower as I talk to you.
Doctor: Are you suicidal?
Jean: Yes
Doctor: More than usual?
Jean: Yes
Doctor: Are you in crisis?
Jean: No. Nothing you can do for the pain right?
Doctor: Nope.
Jean: Nothing the hospital can do that I can't do right?
Doctor: Nope.You are better with your cat.
Jean: Ok. Anything I should do?
Doctor: Stay in bed when you feel dizzy. Call me if you actually will kill yourself and I will tell you what to take based on your oxygen level. You have enough meds?
Jean: Yes. I will have enough marijuana barely until my check comes in.
Doctor: Rest up, stay in bed and call if things get worse.
I may also post this in the main section to show you there are good and understanding docs out there you can be honest with.

Apparently a body in motion demands coffee so I back in bed with coffee and some of last nights dinner fir breakfast.
Dishes drying.
Yesterday was forecast to be 54F so I cracked my window and took a light jacket. As it happened temp plummeted and it snowed. Came home frozen to a cat who was turning into a popsicle and without any food. He is explaining to me how I still owe him cuddles to make up for that.

Took triple dose of paracetamol and now drinking beer. The last time I did that, I started feeling better in hours

This is weird... I just took my dishes to the kitchen and I was a bit lightheaded... like what? I wasn't when I woke up...

No.....no that can't be real.... it's like.... it's .... what?So although my mind wants to stay in bed my body is objecting. So I guess it's time to be up.
Things that must be done today:
Return library books before library closes at 5. They have given me so many extensions I can't ask fir another.
Retrieve flash drive left at library
Things that need to be done this weekend:
Clean room
Laundry.
Also presenting at Science Sunday, but thst is a joy, so once I get over the 6am wake up it's easy.

@Jean4 I agree about making a main post about your experience! I know it's easy to give up finding a trustworthy doctor you can be open with and a lot of people would benefit from realizing that.

truthfully it wasn't that much of an impulse.... it's something as a quick pulse ox meter... just in case... just to rule that out. it would explain things. and I can cover it as a 'mom's boyfriend can use it if needed' thing too as we bought him one already.
