Because if you start on spirits before you've had beer, the alcohol is being absorbed already, like preloading your drunkenness.so in my experience, this whole ridiculously sounding mantra of "Beer before liquor, you've never been sicker; liquor before beer, youre in the clear" is pretty damn accurate.
is anyone else finding the same? why do i feel so much worse one way than i do hte other, nearly irrespective of amounts of either that are drunk.
If you start on beer and finish on spirits you are back loading when already drunk which has more effect. It shifts the drunkenness curve to the end of the night.
I just made that up. How'd I do?
