I love chicken soup. I make a pot and eat it for days.

I also used to put chicken liver in it for extra iron. It disintegrates into the soup.

I made chicken soup twice since my Bariatric Surgery. Couldn't eat it. Made it now without it. I am eating it no problem.

I can no longer eat chicken liver.

Chicken soup is the ultimate comfort food.

Me too. I actually don't watch many new shows. I still watch current episodes of South Park, but that's an old show that still making new episodes so it probably doesn't count.

I also like "The Goldbergs" for my retro 80s fix. That show's been on for quite a while now too though. I guess I don't watch any new shows.

so in my experience, this whole ridiculously sounding mantra of "Beer before liquor, you've never been sicker; liquor before beer, youre in the clear" is pretty damn accurate.

is anyone else finding the same? why do i feel so much worse one way than i do hte other, nearly irrespective of amounts of either that are drunk.

I don't drink beer. My dad used to drink that Pabst Blue Ribbon, even though he always called it "piss water". I think that's probably the only beer I've ever tasted in my life and it put me off beer forever. That stuff is disgusting! I've heard some of the non-American beers are actually good. And now they have all the craft beers. But the idea of beer just doesn't appeal to me, I guess.
I stick with the hard liquor. I wish I could still drink whiskey, but I just can't because of my stomach. I miss it. Now I mainly drink vodka and rum.

There's a ton of great beers that aren't PBR. you might juts like them. Do you drink your vodka or rum straight?

No, I usually mix it with soda. I actually don't think I could even drink vodka or rum straight because my stomach wouldn't be able to handle it. I occasionally do shots and I drink it straight then, but most of the time I just make a drink and mix it with soda.
