honestly I'm just glad I use the same browser for this site, and basically nothing else -- I can clear things without issues. Basically all my browsers but one (and this one as I haven't found it) are 'dump everything on exit' , and the one that doesn't is just because some sites are annoying with the 'please login, ok now please verify with our phone, ok now please give a blood sample, ok now please worship the god on the second tuesday of the full moon with a bonfire, ok, now that that's done, are you sure that's your password? yes, now please change your password--we've sent it to your email on file'

Do you stay logged into sites? I use Last Pass to log me in so it's not an issue. And I use a VPN that only activates on an incognito tab so for ss I take the trouble to log in every time the long way round.

I stay logged into a few sites. I usually have an SS window open so I don't need to re-login. I used to go through the trouble of using a VPN but I'm on the verge of killing myself so what am I hiding?

Fair point. I feel like that sometimes and I confess that I do stay logged into ss sometimes against my better judgement. Lol sod it.

Haha I use multiple browsers too. I use Opera exclusively for ss.

AT my house ,and even work, people don't know what opera is, or the logo--they wouldn't even think to click the logo. kind of useful that way lol

I hate being trapped in the house and outside its a crappy street. I can see the road where I used to live out the back window. Miss my home so much.

I'm sorry to hear that. That sucks that you can see the house where you used to live out the back window. I'm sure that makes it a lot harder.
I know some people don't like to be in the house, which is something I've never been able to relate to. I grew up being pretty much alone most of the time because my dad was usually at the bar (or pub for you Brits) getting drunk, and even when he was home, he was usually passed out (hopefully inside the house so I wouldn't have to figure out how to get him off the front lawn where the neighbors could see). I think I just adapted to being alone because no one ever cared to check on me. Now I don't really like being around other people very much at all.
The only person I could ever tolerate for more than an hour or so was my husband. I guess that's how I knew I really loved him because I didn't mind being around him for long periods of time.
Everyone else just annoys me.

Just paying you back for all those tempting food pictures that you post causing me to want to order pizza and Arby's and milkshakes and Wawa and so on.
Oddly, the chicken doesn't usually have the same effect. I'm still waiting to see which one of us is going to turn into a chicken first, since you supposedly are what you eat.

Sounds like a tough upbringing. I was always very self contained out of choice but now isolation is forced on me I actually miss people. It turns out I was quite sociable all along I just didn't know how to, well, socialise.

Yeah, just need to scroll through titles mainly. It's an automated service that runs every 5 minutes. it sends emails for "I"m running!" "I errored!" "I Finished!", which was good when it ran only on 2 days a few times... but every 5 minutes every day.....

I'll have to do a quick modification with it so it doesn't do that later, but at least I can track if it's working, and compare how it's running and when for now.... still annoying.

The forum design is kind of scattered IMO so you have to find the pockets where there's an existing community who will welcome. I also didn't really feel connected to this place until i came to kitchen sink and found these lovely folks.
