It does seem as though in a world like this, nowhere is free from pro lifers and the cruelty of people. All suffering is unnecessary and just because someone else has it worse doesn't mean that we don't suffer. We all experience life differently after all and things that might be insignificant to one person can ruin the life of another.

Of course people who are not in a similar situation themselves would never really be able to understand and this is why it's probably best not to open up about suffering at all as it can lead to others invalidating what we are going through and just making everything worse. It's best to take no notice of pro lifers, a lot of them are delusional, their beliefs don't reflect the cruel reality of existence.

Ah, are we doing false comparisons today? Apparently so.

I guess nobody is allowed to be unhappy with their lot except for that ONE GUY, the poor schmuck who has it the absolute worst out of all 8 billion of us. Let's call him Jared. Jared is allowed to ctb. Everyone else is forbidden to, because after all, it's not like we're Jared or anything. Whenever somebody becomes suicidal, they must be sternly told to quit feeling bad all the time. It's very tacky to want to end your own life when Jared is out there, relentlessly continuing to exist. <—Saying this will cause people to reflect upon their non-Jaredness, and then they will be happy all the time instead of sad.

I'm so glad we have pro-lifers who register here in order to tell us these things. They most certainly have not been wasting everyone's time by giving orders to strangers about how they ought to feel.

They think they will save people. It can be a noble thing but it's completely misguided. I think it can be pretty hard to understand suicide from an outsider's perspective who is glad for life. Though this forceful idea that people should live even if they don't want to is really insensitive and cruel.
