The man that was does not exist,
For the angel of death was whom he kissed.
Unbeknownst to him, a tragic fate
From life to death, from love to hate.

Melancholic apathy resided within,
Until one day his patience wore thin.
She left him alone with her burden to bear.
It was at that time he fell in despair.

With a future grim and a haunted past,
He stood in shock completely aghast.
Reflecting on this tragic misgiving,
He decided his life was not worth living.

With the air thick, his last breath was taken,
Praying to god that he wouldn't awaken.
Without any meaning, does anyone cope?
Most people asphyxiate without any hope.
