Today I just understood two things: people don't care what you think, people don't care what you want and people don't care how hard you try.
I hadn't realized that yet and it hurts when you take the full force of reality. And it's deeply discouraging...

I just think that most people only care about what directly affects themselves, humans really are so self centred after all, that's undeniable. But I just don't think there's much point caring so much about what other people think anyway, their views and opinions should be insignificant.

That part "people only care about what affect them directly". I was on Twitter recently and I saw a video of this young girl being brutally attacked by her "boyfriend" and she ended up dying and people were walking by and doing nothing. This is when I came to the realisation that most humans sucks they let that poor girl get killed and they couldn't even try to stop the murder. My heart ached for her when I saw that video and all these people could have stopped such a senseless murder but they didn't. The video was so violent that I couldn't believe that she died in such an undignified manner .

Because of this I can't wait to complete ctb, the most dangerous thing to a human is another human…

Welp that's the sweet and bright reality for you. People inherently are all selfish. Everyone has problems to care about, and not many are generous enough to care for others unless it benefits them. Perhaps in this society, it's really either you care for yourself or you don't.
