Like the title says, does any one else feel that you're doomed in some way no matter what you do or what happens?
Like, even I somehow ever achieve fulfillment and satisfaction in one sense — mental, emotional, spiritual, financial, sexual, romantic, academic, artistic, etc. — I'm still doomed in another: environmentally (with stuff like climate change, pollution, etc. only getting worse) and politically (especially if you're a minority and people hate you and treat you like sub-human and want you to die for no good reason), etc.
So, if you really are doomed regardless, might as well CTB now — y'know, to nip all this dithering and suffering in the bud, right…?
One thing that comes to mind when I think about all this is, "OK? Just make the most of the time that's left and care about the things and people that are special to you. And besides, if you do ever truly achieve mental and emotional fulfillment/satisfaction, then would stuff beyond your control like climate change and politics really be able to penetrate/ruin that?" Or something like that.
But it's little more complicated than that, and telling myself these things can only make me feel so much better, and I'm sorry if I described all of this poorly, but — any thoughts on this?
