The darkness is so strong that im just smiling

I can't cry, lost the ability to do it, I can't even be depressed or sad in peace, I can't feel down. The darkness is always looking back and all I do is just laugh and feel joy.

Who knew the darkness could be more gentle and honest than the light ?, at least the darkness won't sell you false hope then take it all away in an instant. The darkness will never abandon you and it will comfort you always.

I can relate to how you are feeling. To get to the point where you are numb and stop giving a damn takes a lot of suffering and endurance.

I think that just as there are fool's gold and real gold, one being much more common than the other, there is artificial and natural light for our souls. In society, we can be overwhelmed by the "artificial light". That shouldn't make us give up on true light, which is quite, humble, honest and always there for us. It must be out there, despite all the flashy, colourful lights constantly baiting us into chasing them. Difficult to find, yes, but it must be out there or/and in there.
