I decided to put this post in the suicidal discussion because in one way or the other it really contributes to my depression. I wanted to exactly know why are black women and black men against each other. if you go to twitter or you tube you find these groups hating and bashing on each other. You rarely see it in other communities

I'm no sociologist but my best guess would be the large amount of blacks living in impoverished neighborhoods and everything that comes with it: pressure to engage in criminal activity (=> gang life => gang rivalry), lack of education (=> higher affinity to aggression), or simply fitting in with the aggressive nature of their surroundings. You see that with uneducated, long-term unemployed whites as well, stupid people will always find a way to hate on everyone for no good reason

It's complex.

But I feel it comes down to the black community constantly feeling the need to hold itself/each other accountable.

Plus there is a horrific division between genders nowadays, anyway, and this has also consumed the black community.

The sad shit is that people that buy into these harmful philosophies on sex and gender (men and women) don't realize that they are being brainwashed by pawns/agents.

To see destruction of the family, you can follow Alfred Kinseys' disgusting work up through the "sexual revolution" to the "intersectional feminist theory" and "queer theory" thought leaders of today.

It's about disassembling society, in order to rebuild... something.

It's all "divide and exploit"... thesis, antithesis- synthesis. A slow, plodding grind through generations to reach the point we're at today.

The black community in the USA has borne the brunt of an agenda you can trace back literally hundreds of years, if you truly want to understand... an agenda that is wearing down all of society, not just the black community, right now.

It's depressing. I fear for the youth in my family. Some say there's hope, but I've lived a long time and I'm not sure that's true. People like Yuval Harrari and Klaus Schwab think they know what's best for the future, and they have way more money than I do. Let's hope the black community stops listening to their underlings.

Lots and lots of self-hatred in the black community, and it always starts with the parents. I'm speaking from experience and could probably go on about this topic.

There's a cycle that needs to be broken, but it's incredibly hard. It's really sad and just complicated.

There is currently a gender war featuring men against women.

Hence Andrew Tate. Hence incels. Hence feminism.

It's not just black people.. it's litterally everyone. White people started it actually.

I'm going yo assume you're black. You might have a bias yourself that makes you feel like it's only the black community.

What you mean is, why do black women insist on the specific fact that black men don't think they're attractive? And why black men keep making fun of black women and disrespecting them?

Well, once again, I think beauty standards affect everyone. Just look at the number of white girls feeling suicidal over not looking like Bella hadid.

Black women, at least, seem to have more psychological endurance when it comes to body confidence because they've been considered the least attractive out of every race for centuries.

Idk what I said wrong but I clearly offended you. Just know I'm from eastern europe so what I know may be different from the west. I also don't understand the sarcastic joke u made so sorry I guess I'll leave this thread after this post.

If all you see is black men against black women, it's because that's all you're looking for, AKA confirmation bias.

I mean clearly they mentioned that it's contributing to their depression so maybe they've experienced it in their personal life and that's the whole reason they see it.

It doesn't matter if your Black or White. We all know right from wrong. We make that decision to hate another person or group of people knowing it is wrong.

I have no idea, it does seem to be extremely abundant in this community. I know it's in every race but it doesn't seem to be as obnoxious. then again I'm surrounded by my own race more than others so that probably just makes it easier spot it.
