The one tough thing about SS .... I may have lost 3 friends, but may never know. I talk with many of you through chat or message and I enjoy it very much. 3 people recently just disappeared who said they were thinking of ctb. It is hard, the not knowing, did they, did they just stop coming here, kinda some unanswered questions. I understand that is the risk one runs talking to people in a forum like this, may they have found the peace they are seeking if that's the case.

They could just need some time to recharge. I do that a lot. Some people on here came back after being away for almost a year even! And I like to think that even if they're gone they've surely found peace. What would worry me is if they were detained or kept in a ward. That is worse than death.

There were a few people I used to talk to from this site a lot. Getting to know them, sharing things and enjoying their company.

That's how it is on this site. Don't get attached to anyone (if you can), because for most people this site is just a temporary stop... It sucks, because this site is the only site these days where I find people that I like and can tolerate. And I can relate to many on here and they are understanding... But someone can just disappear suddenly, and you might never know - are they recovering? Did they ctb?

Yeah, many people do just disappear from the forum and it is unknown what has happened. There is many goodbye threads, but in many cases you just don't really know. I just hope that those people are in a better place now.
