I would like to personally thank our amazing and beautiful healthcare system for being such a masterfully orchestrated piece of art that it's flawless ability to serve it's citizen and ease of access are of such grandiose perfection, that currently the one and only thing actively standing in my way of making any and all progress towards my mental health and ability to function in society like a normal human being, is the absolute horseshit clusterfuck trainwreck communist trash of a healthcare system. It's been made very clear that i literally cannot comprehend a lot of basic social stuff, that obsessive compulsive behavior and intrusive thought are making it nearly impossible for me to function, and yet, i can't get a person on the god damn phone to tell me weither or not i'm even on the bloody 2398234782948 years long waiting list to even begin the process of seeing any kind of psychologist. Thank you Trudeau for wasting who knows how many billions on dumb fucking bullshit instead of investing in fixing our disgrace of a healthcare system. I'm so glad no matter how much effort and time i invest in bettering myself, i can't get the help I desperatly need to make all of it actually work. But that's ok, because if either me or someone else in my situation ends up unable to take it anymore and either commiting suicide or supreme gentleman, we'll all just have a nice expensive ''suicide bad, gun bad, talking good'' publicity campaign instead of actually doing anything of worth whatsoever.

I am sorry to hear this too. I have always heard that the US should model our healthcare after Canada because it is free and accessible. I have insurance but it is also hard to see anyone here, even if they are taking new patients, and the copays are expensive. Politicians talk about improving mental health but that is the problem. They just talk and make sound bites to make it look like they are doing something. I understand your frustration and I hope you are able to get an appointment soon.

Free healthcare is quite efficient in most of Europe and some Asian countries ( Japan especially which probably has the best free healthcare in the world along with Germany). I never understood why it's so badly run in Canada. It hasn't started with Trudeau , it has always been rather terrible and inneficient, for decades, if not forever.

I've often heard this too. Doubt there is a perfect system anywhere that can accommodate the needs of everyone. No intent to diminish the OPs situation and feelings. I know OPs frustration is real and must be maddening.
