This is so random but even though I haven't been on SS for long and mostly I preferred to just read threads but I've never felt this understood in a community for a while now.
I never thought I'd feel comfortable in a community or find somewhere where I can speak freely without being judged
Everytime I read a thread I can mostly relate with it which makes me feel a little less alone
I just made this thread as an expression of gratitude that this forum exists and for the people here the ones I interacted with and others that I haven't interacted with yet

I agree, this community is awesome. In most places, if you say that you are suicidal or really mentally ill, people start being weird with you. It becomes awkward, they mock you or they tell you to leave. It feels so good to talk about my issues and that people keep talking to me like a normal person.

Thanks to everyone, especially the ones I have interacted with, even if that interaction was giving me a hug reaction when I was feeling sad.
