As things get worse in the world for trans people, I find myself trying to escape by coming on this forum. Unfortunately, transphobia will follow wherever people will go since it is such a strong and embedded sentiment in our society. Even on a forum that believes in choice for any autonomous acts, there is still some transphobic sentiment.

However, for every transphobic comment there were at least 10 people defending us. No matter if they were trans or cis themselves. So thank you. It may seem like another stupid argument on the internet, but please know it means a lot to me.

It is *so* hard living in this world where your very existence is criminalized and being threatened to be erased. Barely anyone around me understands how horrific that is. I tried to explain it to my mom, but she just said "people get killed everywhere"…

It makes me feel less alone knowing there are people there who actually care for me and my existence.

Transphobia is despicable and heinous wherever it persist. I'm still new to this forum, but I've noted the same observation you have. I'm glad you've found a place where you can usually feel supported and heard. The Transphobes on this forum should be reported and banned on sight. Imagine being on a suicide forum and punching down on one of the most oppressed groups in history. It makes me think such bigots pushed people away with their prejudice.

As an Autistic Cis person, I relate to many of the struggles of Trans people, especially being rejected, ostracized and dehumanized by social groups. While there isn't yet an extremely oppressive political campaign specifically aimed against Neurodivergent people just yet, that is a real possibility, in the same way it is happening to Trans people right now.

We need to stand in solidarity with each other and fights against the profoundly prejudiced socio-economic system we live under that thrives on reproducing prejudice, transphobia and racism regularly, that relegates peoples worth to how much they conform to corporate culture and how much they can be exploited for the wealth of capitalist, and that controls the masses by allowing prejudice to fester so that the racist and bigots protect this system. Fascism is an inevitable consequence of the capitalist system trying to maintain its grasp on power while exploiting the people of the world. True Equality, and respect for all of humanity can never exist or thrive in such a system, and must be dismantled.

Usually, I would have more to say on the political front. However, I am extremely exhausted mentally. Just know I agree with your words. You are very right.

Neurodivergence has been a target of capitalism in one of the best hidden ways and that is through psychology/psychiatry. It is not explicit, but the way we pathologize brain structures and reactions to traumatic stimulus is evident in the psychiatric system. To enforce such stressful and traumatizing material conditions.. and then to exploit and capitalize on the working class's reactions? Yes, neurodivergent people are definitely oppressed and exploited. Trans people will always be in alliance with neurodivergent people as we get treated very similarly. Plus there is a great overlap.

I'm sorry that our environment refuses to fit us into its structure.

And I will add how absolutely fucking ridiculous it is that ANYONE living even slightly outside the societal norm has to fight just to exist. It never was, and never will be, fair.

Some people are too close minded to see others that are different from them as equals. My father has always been racist and it was only after 50 years that he came about, because he started interacting more with people from other races. Sometimes I think whether some of it may be similar for the ones against trans people.

I hope you continue to feel appreciated here. Despite the sad state of affairs in real life about trans rights, it was nice to read that you feel positive here. At least one place where people are treated better. We'll always value you here
