• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Im not currently doing too bad but I have very intense mood swings and I was wondering what it's like to text/call 988. I'm very paranoid of getting the cops called on me and getting put an inpatient facility. So I was just wondering the likelihood of that happening, and even just other people's experiences with them. Thanks :)

if youre activity telling them youre going to ctb, they might do something. i called 911 once while actively doing something and they just came to my house and hooked me up with a crisis team... odd. as long as you arent doing anything life threatening. they rarely do that anyway.

in the us im pretty sure you have to consent to be hospitalized, unless they deem you very unstable. i knew this girl that got hospitalized because she was actively ctbing, but if you call someone afterwards they will not do anything as there is nothing to prevent.

They're really just there to listen because anything past that should be left to professionals. If you need a place to vent and get some weight off your shoulders it's not a bad resource.
