So I tested my SN using this method and it worked I think? The strip came back a deep purple. I also tried putting in 25g of SN in 50 ml of water and the drink came out pretty yellow. My SN is 98 percent pure. Is it safe to use for CTB?

I have zero clue, I'm not knowledgeable about this at all, but my first thought is, are you supposed to distinguish between nitrite and nitrate when in both circumstances the more ppm the more of the same shade of pink they become. It seems confusing to me...

Op, regardless of whether or not your avatar is a Nazi, I do think your results show that your SN is pure enough to CTB.
