Method testing blocking arteries

Im about to do full suspension hanging. I have a belt for huge loads. It doesnt stretch nearly enough. its about 40mm by 3-4mm. I think its nylon. What Im trying to do before I swing is I wanna test where exactly I need to put the belt on my neck. Any suggestion how to do it ? I just read in some post to roll up socks and put them on the sides of the neck. What scares me the most is cutting off air passage. If Im not mistaken I need to put it above adams apple. If I try to squeeze my neck below adams with my hands its so uncomfortable I start coughing immeadiately. Is there a way to do full suspension hanging without blocking airway?

You want to put them to the left and right of your adams apple. Feel around with your hands for strong pulse. There should be one on each side of your neck, kinda deep.

Sorry im so late. I only really go on here when im really down. Id recommend just holding your breath
