Hi all

Im in a real hellish situations. Couldnt think of many worse stuations.

I am going through anti depressant withdrawal with frontal lobe dementia, any of these on their own is hell.

I have periods when im like a 5 year old child in thinking and behaviour. I cannot plan have intense anxiety, coupled with anxiety from withdrawal. I really need to get out soon, as i will soon be a 5 year old all the time- to scared to do the deed and too scared to live and this terrifies me.

I'm so sorry I know there are a few of us with frontal lobe damage from ssri. I'm not sure if interested but we have petition with Scottish parliament and the MP's working on our case are listening to us. They are accepting submissions from people around the world.

From my own experience Zoloft made my suicidal thoughts stronger. My life was/is a complete hell of chronic mental illness issues and what it's done to destroy my ability to have a decent life. Being drugged into acceptance does not help the situation. I've always known suicide is the only way to stop all of this and meds can't change that.

That's messed up. I had no idea anti depressants caused side effects like that. I hope you get better.

I recently had a brain scan and they found small white lesions on my brain. I have been on ssri's for almost 20 years. Is this something that is associated with the sort of damage? I have never heard of this before and I was concerned about the white lesions on my brain. The doctor did not know what they were

I wouldn't be surprised. So many people severely damaged on them then in withdrawal. I have damage from withdrawal done by Dr.

Includes me. It's benzos that got me. No idea how, but I'm got blaring loud tinnitus and got completely sterilized. And I didn't have any "disorders" to begin with.

From start to finish every doctor says it's not the benzos. So I can't sue that GP.

Anyway the withdrawal is over. I can barely get out of bed without the push of libido. Zero motivation to get a job. That need is after all, one of the basic needs of Maslow's triangle. Without it, the human crumbles.

Yes. I seem to be cut off from the "self" part of brain. Life is impossible. Every GP Dr will try to deny this. If they can't deny it seems that the reports are not being done properly. I don't know whats happening with the reports.

White lesions can mean strokes.

Im going to have to od on home pharmaceuticals, dont have it in me to do anything else. I think itll will work as seems to work for most people in withdrawal as we have compromised nervous systems and bodies arent functioning properly

Hi Dave. That's a pretty shitty situation. I'm also going through withdrawal (benzos) and the cognitive issues are awful. I can't imagine the dementia issues. And I understand that would make it harder to plan an exit.

I think you're unlikely to do any damage to yourself with such a small quantity of pills (assuming you mean that's how many pills you have, not boxes), but it's not going to kill you, so I don't recommend it. None of those drugs are reliably lethal in overdose. People almost never die from Valium or paracetamol by themselves.

If you mean that's how many packets you've got, you're unlikely to kill yourself but you are risking making your situation worse by getting sick.

I understand that with dementia you might be in a hurry, but it would be better not to rush it if you can take the time to read up on other methods. The Valium might be useful there.

Not really. There's not that much codeine in it and it's not that strong. You'd just be overdosing on paracetamol, which often just gives people liver damage. Codeine does interact with valium, but not enough.

I wouldn't OD if I were you, and I am in a similar position as you. You'll likely just do organ damage and possibly make your symptoms worse, if you can imagine that. Do yourself a favor and look into some peaceful methods like N, CO, or nitrogen. They (N/N2) are costly and you will need to figure out logistics of receiving but if you're too scared to go with a violent method, it's kind of the only way.

:(

What kind of observation are you under? Is it possible to wait it out, or will it be permanent observation due to your condition? Do you know if euthanasia and assisted suicide are options where you live, since you have dementia?
