i'm most likely just going to overdose on opiates, but i recently got a job at my local shitty amusement park and learmed how incredibly easy it would be to sneak in through the employee entrance. i'm lowkey floating the idea of sneaking in at night, climbing up one of the rides, and jumping off. when i was a kid, i always had a fantasy of climbing up a rollercoaster just for the thrill of it, and i would finally get to do that.

other ideas i've had:

• sneaking into a dangerous animal's zoo exhibit (a lot of them at my local zoo would be concerningly easy to get into)
• maxing out my cards to go to hawaii or japan and jumping in a volcano
• injecting weird shit into my veins
• crucifixion (not sure if i could do this just by myself)
• stealing a plane and crashing it like this guy

I've always thought of jumping into a volcano. Seems like it would be pretty fast, even if it's painful for a few seconds.

An animal exhibit could be a very slow death though. If an animal isn't threatened by your struggling, or it can easily pin you down, then it might not kill you before it starts to eat you. Like with bears and sometimes big cats (some videos online of this, NSFL).

A guy in my hometown signed up for some stage time at a local coffee shop's musician night. He played a song called "sorry for the mess" (or something like that, I don't know the song) then once he finished, started stabbing himself with a knife in front of everyone. Yes he died. This was like 10-15 years ago. Newspaper said everyone thought it was part of the act and so nobody tried to stop him right away.

Pretty fucked up, but also quite creative, and honestly I get his sense of humor.

I remember seeing a video of a Chinese steel worker jumping into a pot of molten metal on the job. It's not graphic, he just disappeared under like it was water.

Other ideas:
Sky diving but don't open the parachute.

Human lightning rod on top of the world's tallest sky scraper.

Eat tainted pork, and the parasites will travel from your gut, thru your blood stream, and eat your brain (and maybe eyeballs)

Piss off a witch or invade a tomb and get cursed / hexed

I don't get the point of these exhibitionist suicides. What's the point, trying to make some statement about the meaninglessness of life? All the methods mentioned are painful, and difficult to pull off.

Those methods all sound horrifying, nobody should have to die a painful or violent suicide. We all deserve the option of a peaceful exit at a time of our own choosing.

Ha. I've considered the volcano one and the injecting one when I was in one of my "lighter" depression moods. I think I'd have done the injection one if I could've gotten hold of a large bore syringe. Sadly where I'm from, syringes are prescription only lol (in fact they'd report you immediately if you try to buy one without a prescription). It'd not have been effective anyway tbh.

I'm too much of a baby afraid of physical pain to consider the others. But some of these sound like they'd feature on the next "dumb ways to die" video (no offense lol)

My first thought was hanging/asphyxiation, but it's not completely guaranteed. I also don't want to do it in my house where someone will find me.

My 2nd thought was gunfire. I am a legal firearm owner, but I dont want to make a mess inside my house.

My 3rd was jumping in front/under a large vehicle like a train or bus, but I'm just not that coordinated and feel like I would fuck it up.

I've decided that jumping is the best option; I just need to find the right spot. There's a bridge over a ravine on a college campus that's roughly 70' from the bridge deck to the ground, which is highly probable to be successful (someone was successful about 4 months ago). There is also a condo for sale downtown that would be perfect to jump off the balcony onto the concrete parking structure. It's about 32 floors above the street, so something like maybe 25 floors to the concrete structure. I just don't know if they would even let me tour the condo without proof of eligibility/income (it's like $1.2 million)
