I don't know if this is a fun fact, but I really really REALLY love sharing it because a lot of people have some trouble with it, so here is the fact...
You use "they're" as "they are." For example, "They're being really mean to me!"
You use "their" in reference to a person when "they're" doesn't make sense in the sentence. For example, "Oh my goodness! Their clothes are so beautiful!"
You use "there" in reference to a place. "The park is right over there next to the cafe."
I also want to say this one!!!!
You say "you're" as "you are." For example, "You're doing a very nice job cleaning your room! Well done!"
You say "your" when "you are" doesn't make sense in a sentence. For example, "My name is John Doe. What is your name?"
Something else I really really REALLY want to say is:
People say that back during the Cold War, people were taught to stick their thumb up to the mushroom cloud to see if it was safe or not. First, you close one eye. If your thumb was bigger, it's safe. If it is smaller, you run. This is not true. This one is for the Fallout fans, haha! Vault Boy is just sticking up his thumb because he is reassuring you that everything is going to be okay and to, "Prepare for the future!!!!" In fact, that thumb and nuclear bomb thing never happened. Just a pretty interesting rumor!
I apologize. This is the last one. Hopefully, this leads to an interesting investigation on the internet!
There is this video game called, "Rule of Rose," that is said to be the rarest video game in the world. Under 20,000 copies were made of the game, and was later banned due to controversy. It is very interesting to research if you want to go down a video game rabbit hole.
Let me know if any of these are inaccurate so I can correct them. I am positive they are accurate, though, just let me know if they aren't. :)
