Because he hates people dissenting with him?

I don't believe for one second he actually cares about depressed suicidal people.

His "care" would probably just be locking up depressed indefinitely and drug them out of their minds.

The motive behind the video is unclear. It's possible he is looking for some kind of hero-status from his viewers for campaigning to shut down an "evil" site, or perhaps he is just overly attached to pro-life views. Either way, the forum shutting down really wouldn't change anything, I would be just as suicidal and ctb when I get the chance. No matter what doctored nonsense they come up with, death will still be better than life to me as all suffering is gone.

The list of treatments and solutions that I have typed into my word processor to document my struggle is easily longer than an unsharpened pencil and then some. If his video ever actually did get this site taken down I'd be livid but I don't see that happening. Not due to his YouTube video anyway.

People are going to make their decisions either way. Some will stay alive and some won't, the only difference is how many will die in horrible gruesome ways.

What a fantastic irony how we see the less agonizing methods become impossible to access while the violent and painful methods are as easy to access as they ever were. I can't speak for every part of the world but this is the situation in my part.

i found this forum from his video, honestly didn't do a good job protecting his viewers from it. i'm sure many others did as well

they have the idea that everyone can get better typically because they did. they were able to overcome whatever they were facing so that means it's possible for anyone, going against that idea shatters their delusion that life is an amazing gift and it's worth living.

not everyone wants to keep be keep fighting to stay here. i don't get why it's seen as an irrational thing to ctb. we are all different and out of the millions of people alive, existence isn't made for everyone and we shouldn't be forced to stay here for another persons sake, it's our own choice. sometimes there are things you can't fix and people should accept ctb as a valid option.

If anyone is going to shut the site down, then it won't be Tantacrul. It's gonna take politicians changing the laws to make its existence illegal before it can be done. For now, the danger is only for individual users trying to push suicide on other members.

As for the youtuber himself, I'm not entirely sure how much he even cares. Most of what he was doing was virtue signaling and misrepresenting the site. It's possible his video about SaSu wasn't monetized, but if it was, then he was just exploiting us for his own personal gain. His bark is worse than his bite, so if he wants to do some real damage to the forum, he might want to sharpen his teeth.

I came from his video! I was curious as to what was going on and then realized the true nature of the site. I've always been against censorship and this forum has honestly helped me with my suicidal tendencies more than any other with its overwhelming empathy and honesty. I dislike the government having the power to control people's ability/knowledge to ctb and I find it suspicious. After all, we have always been property/profit vs people to them. Don't even get me started on the mental health institutions. The anti psychiatry board on Reddit gave me a lot of comfort as someone who has been screwed over so many times by people claiming to help. None of my therapists/psychiatrists have come close to understanding me in over 14 years. Their medication genuinely almost led me to CTB against my true will. The help they claim will save people is often riddled with control tactics and outright lies and deception. This forum doesn't encourage anything in my opinion, it's just honest. In fact, even as someone who often scrolls the darker sides of this site, SS has overall REDUCED my suicidal ideation. So thank you to everyone on here and I sincerely hope this site is able to stay up. The ignorant masses will always keep fighting us.

I'm about 99% sure his video on SS was just a stunt to push views onto his channel. Note that his video on SS has by and far away the most views (literally double that of his next most popular video), even though it is also by and far away his most recent video too. If he really wanted to discuss suicide in good faith and thought this site was truly terrible and didn't deserve to be discussed, he wouldn't half-heartedly try to censor this site's name while ironically redirecting many of his viewers here. Instead, he'd make a proper, well-researched video on suicide and addressing the root issues of what may cause it (which many others have done) and just wouldn't reference this site at all, but as we all know that isn't his actual goal.

You know what, good for him. I can appreciate that sort of ruthless money-making mindset. Gotta get on that youtube ragebait grind for the good ol' ad revenue.
