• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Let's decide together if it's worth it or not to end it!

KYS:

• I am in constant pain with no end in sight, my life experience has been ruined because not only do I not enjoy anything anymore, I always feel terrible
• It's what I really want
• It's good for the environment
• I'm too good for this shit clown world
• I'm gonna die anyway

DON'T KYS:

• Mom would be sad (and alone)
• The clowns would use my death as a platform to virtue signal about "mental health" (can't give them that)
• I could find a way to heal or a solution could emerge in the future (hopeful argument)
• I sometimes look forward to things like music and art (still in pain)
• I'm gonna die anyway

Feel free to contribute or make your own list!

I feel the need to point out that your impact on the environment is relatively negligible. Killing yourself would undo the equivalent of one second's worth of damage done by fossil fuel companies every day.

Not an excuse to not do my part!

Kill myself: My list would be a book at least 1000 pages long explaining the reasons of why for me i want to and need to kill myself now or asap

I'll just list a few off the top of my head which would apply to any human

I could get a stroke or a blood vessel in my brain could pop the next second that would leave me with brain damage unable to suicide

Dont kill myself. There are zero reasons for me to continue living even another minute especially for the garbage they continously say we should live for they say "enjoy yourself" = i say fuck that. The only reason I procrastinate is fear of failing and remaining alive but with even more brain damage and other damage

For me the pros and cons are assuming death is permanent non-existence:

suicide pro:
don't have to feel anything (so no more pain or regret or fear and I don't suffer from lack of positive emotions or lack of desires being fulfilled, I am safe forever)
don't have to do anything (so can't do anything wrong or hurt anyone or suffer from having to do things)
I don't really care about living a positive life and more care about avoiding pain so me being dead is going to be seen as equal to life (if said life is positive or neutral) or better than life (if life is bad) which leads me to more lean into wanting death.

suicide cons:
Have to suffer from whatever method I choose and the risk of it failing and suffering more in life.
Can't potential benefit and lessen the suffering of other people still alive.

Anyways for me these pros and cons don't matter as I literally can't die from lack of effective method access for me so I have no choice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pros: I'm dead.

Cons: Can't play TES6 or read the end of One Piece.

Yeah I'll take that deal.

It's good for the environment
It would be much better for the environment to study physics and contribute to the development of artifical photosynthesis or nuclear fusion.

I often made this list, it changes with time:

Pros:
- I want it as long as I can think back.
- I will not regret it, because most likely there will be nobody and nothing that can remember or regret anything.
- As I am old, my suicide is in harmony with nature.
- When I postpone it too long, I could not be able to do it anymore.
- A self-determined life has to end with a self-determined death.

Cons:
- I could miss something good.
- I cannot dream of and look foreward to my suicide anymore.

I am still alive, so the cons are obviously weightier than the pros.

Pros: I will be free from all the sufferings.
Cons: I can no longer watch my favourite series.

I am simply incapable of existing as a typical human being so death is better.

I like how you used the I'm gonna die anyway line for both. When I initially read your post it really felt like the weight of the world coming off my shoulders, to treat life like a buffer or waiting room until death comes around makes all responsibilities seem silly. When you put it that way it's so irrelevant if I fail or not meet standards because I'm just waiting around, just observing. It was kinda inspirational. Then I went back to quote your post and saw you put it in the pros too and I was like oh yeah when you're in a waiting room you can just open the door and leave whenever you want. So now i really don't know what to think lol

Pros: Won't have to risk conditions deteriorating, will help the planet a bit*
Cons: Less time with cat, friends (here and in other places). Won't experience a small apartment of my own... or even decades of reasonable existence (at least for me).

* In the event I get an IT job, and have an eco friendly super fund, non existence might not help the environment as much as existence. Additionally, if all the ppl who care about the planet disappear, there wouldn't be any opposition for those who don't care, maybe leading to worse outcome for the planet. (eg, if the inventors of solar panels, wind turbines, etc didn't create those inventions, then fossil fuels will have even less competition)

Suicide: this all ends and I won't care because I'm gone.

Huge plus. Trumps all else
