Discussion Suicide notes: Online or traditional?

For those of you that plan to CTB, in addition to leaving a note....

Do you intend to compose a traditional note (e.g a physical copy written by hand, or typed.) or, utilizing an e-mail or similar messaging platform to leave your final words?

Or perhaps both?

Dr. Nitschke has always advised leaving a hand-written note with the body - the format suggested is in the ppeh - mainly so that family or friends won't be suspected of assisting. Then anything else like reasons, cremation instructions, etc. can be typed out, signed and dated. The note usually prevents the need for an autopsy. If you'd like to see a sample, feel free to PM.

I'm not sure if I'm going to leave a note at this point. It would just turn into me rambling a lot. But if I was going to, I would hand write it. It would make it a lot more personal. People would be certain that it was in fact you that left it. They would know for a fact what your final thoughts were.
If you introduce the electronic element, some folk might think that someone else took your life. Get credit where credit is due imo.

Im going to leave both a hand written and digital copy of my note, I most likely will also send the digital copy to my friends online using a deadmans switch. Im considering making a video aswell but not sure yet.

I wanted to leave a handwritten letter as my general suicide note, and since I plan on following through with my attempt in woods I would like to send messages to all those I care about, just more personal goodbyes right before I do

The plan has always been online for my Internet friends and handwritten letters for my (very few) irl friends. Over the last 2 years, since I've given up on life completely, I haven't kept in touch with anyone and they haven't kept in touch with me. With the exception of my best friend, who gets a heartfelt handwritten letter.

Initially it was going to just be a handwritten note. But I'm thinking now il leave a handwritten note then disappear, then as I'm about to ctb leave a pre-written note on one of my social media accounts. I figured it's my first and last chance to say what i need to say. Knowing me il realise after I've left the handwritten note that I wanted to say something else, and I don't wanna die feeling I should of said more. I don't know whether that sounds dumb or not, but that's how I feel.

I have written three handwritten notes in total. One yup my best friend(who really deserves it since he had stuck by me so long had had truly supported my final decision), one for my mother, and one for my grandmother.

I've thought about leaving an email to all those who have never supported me or those who have intentionally harmed me. Utilising a dead mans switch.

The notes I've written all have tree she undertone. I let people know how much I love and care for them. I state that try gag nothing to do with my passing. I say that what I did wad mercy for myself. I also say that I went happy and peacefully, painlessly. I just want them to be happy that I'm no longer suffering. And they all know how much I suffer.

So ya, handwritten it is for me. Maybe a digital one, but I haven't decided that yet.

I want to leave a handwritten note but being that that was the only evidence they had to throw me in the mental hospital for three weeks last time somebody somehow found me in time I probably won't

I'm leaving a handwritten letter for my mom. First, I'll type it out on my computer and once I'm satisfied with it I'll write it onto a paper and put it in an envelope for her.

I've thought about a video message and decided against it. I'm going to leave a hand written note with a couple lines to each of the people I have left who still stood by me.
