Suicide Note (kids)

I have elementary aged kids (4th, 5th). Due to complicated circumstances, I don't have custody.

I'm about 2 weeks from being homeless, and the dangers of that. (It'll be over come what may.)

I've been leaning away from writing a note because they're the only people I would want to try to explain to… and I'm afraid a note will be too much.

Then I've thought about "note for later" but that feels like it would be opening wounds later for them.

Thoughts?

I just wonder if sending them emails 10 years later is going to cause more damage than good? That's my ache.

Maybe they need to know you cared very much for them and that leaving them was the hardest decision.
