suicide due to shitty love life resulted from ugly body ?

hi guys

I wonder if this is crazy idea to plan suicide due to unfulfilling love life resulted from ugliness ? I am 50 years old and never been on a single date in my life. Never slept with a woman. I have no family obviously, no kids etc. I think life without intimacy is horrible . Have you ever known a person who suicided because he or she had non existent relations with opposite sex ?

I think that it's a common reason for people to decide to ctb. I don't think that suicide is a crazy idea at all, it's a personal decision. I know that loneliness can be painful for many and I understand that it can be dreadful being trapped in a life that is just constant suffering. I wish you peace and freedom.

Of course. The reasons for CTB are very personal and should not be judged.
Cases similar to yours have been reported on this forum. I hope you find the peace you seek

I don't think anyone's reasons for being so unhappy they want to ctb are either crazy or trivial.

I can relate to you. I'm 42 and have never had a partner. Not sure if it's the driving force for me wanting to ctb now but I remember in the past, it was something I really longed for. I actually feel more resigned and even comfortable with being single than I used to. Still, I think being alone (and lonely) means there are certainly less ties keeping you here. In some ways, I wonder if that's a good thing. There are members here who are suicidal despite having a partner and are wracked with guilt at the thought of leaving them behind.

Do you think having someone in your life would really 'fix' things? Sometimes I feel like it would be even more lonely feeling the way I do AND having someone around because I'm not sure they would really understand and it might hurt them to feel like they couldn't help (and I'm not sure they could).

I guess it's just my messed up way of feeling 'good' about being single... I'm sorry life has turned out this way for you though.
