Suicide by chainsaw : painful, but sure and fast ?

I saw on this forum that I am not the only one to think of decapitation, in cases where drugs fail.

According to the news, many suicides by chainsaw decapitation have taken place.

Can not this method be considered serious ?

I wouldn't worry too much about the mess, but yeah if you botch that, it won't fun be fun.

My rule of thumb is reliable + can risk botching. Since absolutely no method is a hundred per cent reliable, can risk botching is the determining factor.

Can you arrange a way for the chainsaw to keep going at you after you let go?
For example, tie it to a metal pole, attach a weight to that pole, attach the pole to a hinge, arrange a surface for you to lay on, and a release method for the weight and pole?
I see you're aiming for decapitation and mangling your neck to bleed out more efficiently. If anything, I suggest you get shitfaced before the act, as alcohol is a great way to make blood flow out.

If you had ear muffs it would help with the noise and lessen the si but If it's all you got then go for it. But other methods should be considered first.

I know that I couldn't do it. I don't think I could hold the chainsaw to my neck long enough to finish the job … but that is me.
I would be afraid of ending up a vegetable like others have suggested.

I thought about this for a couple of years but to place chainsaw securely is alot of effort and then you have the risk of it conking out. Not worth it.
I only really considered it for a brutal point that euthanasia should be available to those of us with definitively fucked lives.

its upgraded utility knife the mess is the same.
i used angle grinder which cost 50 dollar and its not too noisy.i not care of the mess.
its only cutting carotid not all head
i failed even when it was realy on my neck and i wanted very much.
cant oc si.

try fentnyl patches much better.

i know there is one person who did it with table saw so all is possible.

Why not just use 1% CO. Knocks out after 1-2 breaths, death in few minutes. No pain and very fast.

I think the method you thought about can be tricky. How could you decapitate yourself?
When you put your hand in hot stove your reflex pulls it off so the moment the saw touches skin one's reflexes would make them drop the saw.

But surely one would die quite fast and painlessly by cutting the big artery in neck. I have experience from having big artery cut (by dumb doctor ) and loosing over 4l blood. There is no pain after the cut and rapid blood loss gives euphoria and takes away all pain from the trauma (cut in artery don't hurt but nerve damages does) . Also doctors have said the same online (loved ones have asked this online from doctors after someone had died from cut in big neck artery).

Though even mild asphyxia gives higher euphoria very fast.

Not meaning you should leave early. I wish you and all here would get things fixed so they could experience happiness in this life before leaving to next one.

Fent patches are impossible to get in many countries.

People who clean after someone have died get lots of money from it. The messier, means much bigger paycheck.

But if it was done in house that you own and your close relatives are poor then cleaning that would be tough for them.

If you were completely immobilised and someone else was holding the chainsaw and doing the cutting, perhaps.

Doing it on yourself, absolutely ridiculous idea. Either flinching or passing out from the pain would make you unlikely to finish the job after the first cut began.
