Discussion Suicide as a Form of Reality Shifting

I know reality shifting is fake and probably propagated by people who want attention. But wouldn't it be cool if after you killed yourself you could wake up in a better world of your choosing? I don't really want to die. I just don't want to be in this universe.

I know some people who think this is how reincarnation works. They're more spiritual than straight up religious, but it's a multiple timelines & universes all exist & crossover kind of thing, and that when you die your energy/soul just gets pushed to a different universe
