I've read online about people that died by huffing butane canisters, is there any way to do this that can kill you?

Not a method I'd care to try, too much uncertainty. I have failed to ctb in the past, I'll not tolerate another failure. I will get it right this time.

i certainly do not advise this. the first time i used a pipe i f'ed up and ended up inhaling "fire". so instead of the weed i got high off the butane. i ended up meandering off to the shower to have a panic attack alone while it felt like my brain was literally leaking out of my ears.
